Description

In order to fly at night, a pilot must gain additional experience flying both on instruments and visually at night. No flight test or written exam is necessary for the endorsement of a night rating.

Requirements

Candidates must be 17 years of age for the issuance of a night endorsement. You must hold Private Pilot License- Aeroplane as well as a valid Category 1 or 3 Medical Certificate approved by Transport Canada.
