Description

In order to work for most airline companies, you will need to get a Multi Engine Instrument Rating. The Multi Engine Instrument Rating will authorize you to fly multi-engine aeroplanes in Instrument conditions.

Requirements

Candidates must be 17 years of age for the issuance of a Multi Engine Instrument Rating. The candidate will also be required to have completed a Category 1or 3 medical approved by Transport Canada.

Medical Information

  • Category 1 medical
  • Valid 12 months over 40
  • Valid 6 months under 40

Medicals include vision (including color blindness), urine sample, physical, audio exam and ECG.
